Tim has been a practising barrister in NSW for 25 years. After university Tim initially practised in a wide range of areas, including defamation, equity, general commercial and crime, often appearing before juries in trials. For the last 20 years he has specialised in all aspects of compensation/insurance litigation, predominantly acting for insurance interests and has appeared in a number of landmark cases in the field.
Well respected by the courts and the legal profession, he has a vast experience of preparing and presenting cases in the Compensation Court, Administrative Tribunals, the District and Supreme Courts and the Court of Appeal. Tim's opinion is regularly sought by editors of legal publications and other members of the profession.
Tim’s first hand experience and expertise in providing complex legal advice, preparing written submissions, negotiation and advocacy at trial and appellate level offers the firm and its clients a unique and valuable level of service in these areas
